Wedding pavilion

Wedding pavilion for weddings in the forest of Almere.

In 2000 the city council of Almere decided to copy a Belgian castle, 30% larger, in Almere, as a romantic wedding location. The investor that was building the castle went bankrupt; the castle was never finished and is now Almereā€™s very first ruin.

With the Overtreders W wedding pavilion, it finally became possible to have a romantic wedding in Almere. The wedding couple enters the pavilion via the catwalk and gets married on the stage. A festive dinner is served on the catwalk that also serves as a dining table, offering place for all the guests. The party - at the camp fire- goes on all night.
